Springfield

Springfield

“A great place to live, work, and raise a family!” is Springfield’s motto. A township of approximately 15,800 people in Union County, Springfield was settled in the mid 1700s. Today it maintains several historic monuments and buildings, including a small museum. Voted by New Jersey Monthly as one of the best places to live in the state, the township is convenient for commuters, with major highways and roadways passing through, close proximity to Newark Airport, and a jitney service that takes residents to the Short Hills train station. Jonathan Dayton High School, the public high school, has been recognized by Newsweek, The Washington Post, and New Jersey Monthly. Springfield is also home to Baltusrol Golf Club, which has hosted multiple national championships and was rated by Golfweek as one of the best classic courses in the country.
