Short Hills

Short Hills

Short Hills, an unincorporated community located within Millburn Township in Essex County, is a popular commuter town for residents who work in New York City. In 2014, Time magazine named Short Hills the "Richest Town in America" with seven in ten household incomes reaching above $150,000 per year. Short Hills’ downtown, located along Chatham Road near the Short Hills railroad station, includes a post office, pharmacy, small eateries and specialty shops, and a train station waiting room that operates a bar and grill during the evening hours and a news and ticket stand during morning commuting hours. Short Hills is also home to the Short Hills Mall, Short Hills Club, Racquets Club of Short Hills, and the main portion of Canoe Brook Country Club.
